"Scarborough" is one of a three movement composition called, "Beachscapes." This beach is located in Narragansett, Rhode Island where family fun is abundant. It is a bit chaotic with all the people moving around in a crowded scene. The music portrays this with syncopation and juxtaposed melodies. The performance level is a grade 4 with the first trumpet's highest note, B-flat. The other two movements, Nauset and Rocky Neck are published by Northeastern Music Publications and avialable through your local music store, J. W. Pepper, and Theodore Presser (www.presser.com). All of our music may be ordered through this website.
