Like all Northeastern's Grade 1/2, everyone plays rhythmically together.  Only the percussion very from the ensemble's rhythm, but still very simple.  The composition is written in Dorian mode, so the young musicians get to hear a minor mode with no addicentals.  1st trumpet's highest note is A.
